RoT STUDIO 2025 Recap

One of the biggest highlights of the year was opening our first international office at High Tech Campus Eindhoven within the 3EALITY ecosystem.

This move wasn’t just about geography.
It allowed us to:

• work closer with European partners,

• collaborate more deeply with innovation networks,

• and bring VR/XR training solutions to a wider professional community.

It marked the beginning of RoT STUDIO’s growing presence in Europe and we’re only at the start of that journey.

Another exciting milestone came with our Laval Virtual 2025 award nominations.

RoT STUDIO was shortlisted in two categories:

• Education & Training

• Developer & Authoring Tools

Being recognized at one of the most respected immersive-technology events reinforced something important: our focus on building practical, realistic training experiences continues to resonate with educators, engineers and industry leaders worldwide.

Throughout the year, our team participated in leading events exchanging knowledge, sharing demos, and learning from others shaping the future of XR.

And for the first time, we also hosted our own gathering:

Digital Transformation in Industrial Trainings with VR/XR,  bringing professionals together to discuss how immersive technologies can transform learning at scale.

In healthcare, simulation plays a critical role in improving patient safety.

This year, we introduced an advanced Ophthalmic Surgery VR Training Simulator designed to provide realistic, repeatable training environments. The platform currently features three independent modules:

• Strabismus

• Glaucoma

• Corneal Transplant

By allowing trainees to practice procedures in a virtual environment, we help reduce risk while improving skill development and decision-making confidence.

Another key project in 2025 was the redesign of our Earthquake Experience Room, which now is Earthquake Awareness Training.

Now powered by XR technology, the program offers two dedicated training modes:

• Mixed Reality (MR) for adults

• Virtual Reality (VR) for children

The goal is simple but powerful:
create safe, structured, and age-appropriate experiences that help people practice correct behaviors before an emergency ever happens.

Preparedness becomes far more impactful when it can be experienced not just explained.

We brought all these milestones together in a short recap video highlighting the people, moments, and ideas that shaped our year.
